Custom map XML files for many of the “25 inch” (1:2500 scale) maps available on the National Library of Scotland website have been created for the convenience of users who wish to create their own maps with the Mobile Atlas Creator software (MOBAC).
To obtain the relevant file click on its link below and it will be downloaded to your device. This file should then be copied into the “mapsources” folder in your MOBAC installation. The name of the map will appear in the list of maps available to MOBAC the next time the program is started.
Alternatively, if the file you need it is not listed here, you can create your own. Details are provided in Section 4 of the instructions for creating custom maps with MOBAC.
